Race 1

7 Listen Easy: Good form on the board and manners are generally strong. Everything appears to bode rather well for a successful story here tonight.

3 Random Spur: More upside than most in this line up and just a little bit more luck in running should bring him right into contention here.

12 Lane’s Ace: Handy enough type back from a spell after showing some promise at times last campaign. Few to get around, but a few slows ones too.

2 Sunny Valley: Much more like it with a good fourth last time out at Methven. On the speed and out of trouble could offer a bit of cheek here.

Selections: 7-3-12-2

Race 2

10 Coolhand Easton: They keep piling the money on, but also keep leaving it in the tank too. Not much luck though, even looking line up and Orange in the bike.

2 Shindal: Goes best races when on or near the speed and maps to be exactly there in this line up today. That’s a big bonus, can certainly get in on the action.

6 Playboy Prince: Lovely run first up to finish fourth. Meets a field that should be well within range tonight with a little natural improvement from the first run.

3 Rosinupthebow: Handy enough type who was a little disappointing last time out. This is a whole lot easier though and a big run would be no surprise

Selections: 10-2-6-3

Race 3

1 Shamrock Bromac: First up tonight with a workout under the belt. Canterbury raider who from the draw should have plenty to say and looks a live chance.

9 With The Stars: Made up a bit of ground from well back last time out. Tracks through the potential leader so might be a little closer and with half a shot can win

6 Fraud: Knocking on the door of success, just needs someone to open it up so she can bound through. Good each way chance here.

2 Mila Kunis: A little bit of upside to this one and hasn’t enjoyed the greatest run of luck lately so might be a little better suited to this from the good draw.

Selections: 1-9-6-2

Race 4

9 Off The Edge: Has taken on some pretty handy fields in the career to date and given a short freshen up for this. Might end up getting the sweet trip. Right in the mix.

8 Sport Mental: Nice effort in first look at this place last time out. Orange jumps in the bike tonight and even from a wide draw looks a bit chance of success.

1 Dare To Defy: Plenty of word around on debut from a tricky draw but left most of it behind with a below par run. Give another chance from the handy alley.

11 Oliver North: First up from a respected stable which usually has them ready. Won a trial. Can get into late and play a role in an open looking field.

Selections: 9-8-1-11

Race 5

9 Joshua Dylan: Tried hard after doing it tough here fresh up last time out. This does look a little easier if Orange can make things work from the stand start.

1 Jake: Ran second in only race appearance and that was here. Given time since and workout and trial form has been OK. Not the worst from the inside alley.

4 Major Menance: More upside than most and hasn’t had the greatest of luck lately but there have been some good runs mixed into things. Looks a chance here.

3 Matau Jess: Respect for the stable whenever they line one up. Trial and workout form has been OK and might not be the worst in this.

Selections: 9-1-4-3

Race 6

6 Deus Ex: Poor last time out, but that was a first look at the grass. Prior form was excellent and with a return to the all weather tonight, looks a live chance.

8 Whata Razzle Dazzle: Has form a strong partnership with Blair Orange in the bike and mobile conditions and easier field than recent assignments help a lot.

2 The Croupier: Excellent run fresh up to finish second and should only be better for that run. Looks a good chance tonight from the very handy draw.

10 Rah De Rah: Has hit a bit of form and a grass track trial winner last weekend too. Can swoop on these late with a bit of luck in the running.

Selections: 6-8-2-10

Race 7

10 American Mac: Bounced back to form with a good second last time out in a field that wasn’t that strong. Confidence building though and no surprise to see a big run here.

6 Jacks N Jazz: Kept fighting all the way to the line last week to finish second. Will go forward once again and look to keep them honest. Can win it too.

1 Iamthedream: Can’t really leave out a Michael House trained runner driven by Blair Orange, can we? Especially drawn one. Has to be included.

4 Ohoka Chooper: Is better than the form line might suggest and this isn’t a deep field so wouldn’t be surprised to see a good run here.

Selections: 10-6-1-4

Race 8

3 Boyz Invasion: Did it the tough way and went down fighting on Sunday at Winton. Natural improvement from that suggests that he’s going to be hard to beat from tonight’s good draw.

6 Crusher Collins: Naughty girl on Sunday, but prior form was excellent including a big win here. Only has to be in the right head space to give this a decent shake.

7 Jimmy Carter: Tossed the toys out fresh up at Addington. Does have a motor though and if he can behave himself and end up in the right spot, he’s a chance.

5 Count Eyre: Another on the quick back up from Sunday behind Cracker Hill. Will roll forward, looking to be handy and can be competitive.

Selections: 3-6-7-5

Race 9

10 Katchalight: A long way from home and down here to try and sneak an easy prize. Driver and trainer both going well at the moment, so big respect even in a fresh state.

11 Nikasa: Stepped up to the next grade with a good run here last time out after demo job here prior. Has a bit of a future by the looks of it and a big chance again tonight.

3 Sheeza Sport: Handy draw might work the oracle here, the form hasn’t been too bad, there’s just not been a lot of luck. Can be a major player tonight though with the right run.

1 Altimeter: Third behind Pembrook Playboy in a recent workout. That bodes well for this, especially from the draw and especially with Ottley sitting in the bike. Each way hope.

Selections: 10-11-3-1

BEST:  10 Katchalight (Race 9)

NEXT: 3 Boyz Invasion (Race 8)

VALUE: 9 Off The Edge (Race 4)
