The Caduceus Club Fillies Trust – Series 23

The Caduceus Club Fillies Trust have reviewed their Conditions after having their 3-year old race, the Peter Breckon Memorial Ladyship Stakes upgraded to Group 1 status and subsequently rebranded, effective in this current year with the Caduceus Club name being included in the race name and Ladyship Stakes being deleted.

Both Series 21 and 22 will be raced under the new banner and the races will have Group 1 status with a $10,0000 stake.  Sustaining payments will remain at $100.00 plus GST for the above two series.

The new current year foals, Series 23, due to nominate no later than July 1st, will see an increase to both Nomination and Sustaining payments to $120 plus GST. Within the conditions there is provision in a new clause (5), which provides for a Single One-Off Payment that allows for a discount for those who wish to partake in this option. The Single One-Off Payment provides for those owners who don't want the continual requirement to monitor ongoing payments and will assist in minimising the administration costs involved, along with saving any disappointment in missing payments.

The future races for the Series will be known as:

  • 2-year-old - Woodlands Stud Caduceus Club Classic (April)
  • 3-year-old - Peter Breckon Memorial Caduceus Club Stakes (December)
