Live stream of Awards evening confirmed

The annual Harness Racing Awards will be streamed live, it's been confirmed today.   

The NZB Standardbred-sponsored event will be held next Monday (September 14) at Addington Raceway, but because of Alert level Two restrictions it is limited to 100 people.  

“It’s unfortunate that we can't have everyone at the awards but at least now they will be able to keep track of the awards from home via the live stream,” said awards organiser Courtney Clarke. 

The awards will be live-streamed on the HRNZ website (hrnz.co.nz) and also on HRNZ’s Facebook page, starting at 6.30 pm.  

All up there will be 34 awards are up for grabs with the event expected to conclude with the Horse of the Year announcement at around 8.15pm.
