Change to North Island Junior Driver Championship Team

MEDIA RELEASE 


Harness Racing New Zealand have been advised today by Jack MacKinnon who qualified 5th for the North Island team for the upcoming McMillan Equine Feeds Junior Driver Championship that he is unable to attend. Jack has commitments in Australia where he currently resides.


Craig Smith and Andrew Fitzgerald both finished next on the leaderboard on 65 points and as per the Junior Driver Conditions below Craig Smith is the next qualifying Junior Driver from the North Island and has accepted his invitation to compete.


In the event of an equality of points for any position at the conclusion of the qualifying period (June 10 2019), placings will be determined by the following count-back procedure.
(a) On the basis of the greatest number of wins in Junior Driver races for the qualifying period.
(b) On the basis of the greatest number of lifetime wins.
