Caduceus Club Series Alterations

The Caduceus Club Trust wishes to inform Owners and Breeders of changes to the Caduceus Club Series.

The following changes have been approved by HRNZ.

The first change is to extend the current closing dates for this year’s July 1st 2018 Nomination & Sustaining payments to 31st July 2018. This affects Series 20, 21 and 22.

The Caduceus Club Trust also advises the following changes to the Conditions and Regulations to Series 21 and 22.

The changes are as a result of the Club gaining Group 1 status for the three-year-old race effective from the 2019/2020 racing season.

Series 21

1. Woodlands Stud Caduceus Club Fillies Classic Stake (2YO) reduced to $100,000 (Group 1)

2. Peter Breckon Memorial Ladyship Stakes (3YO) increased to $100,000 (Group 1)

Series 22

1. Peter Breckon Memorial Ladyship Stakes (3YO) increased to $100,000 (Group 1)

The above changes are for the benefit of the industry, with the total stakes across the two races being increased and with both races in the series to carry Group 1 status.
