Premier harness racing is back at harness headquarters with the next three weeks stacked with Group races at the elite level.

Accompanying the pacers Derby is the Group One $80,000 NZ Trotting Derby and the Group One $80,000 Fred Shaw Memorial NZ Trotting Championship for open trotters. The two year old pacers shoot for glory in the Group Two $40,000 Avon City Ford Welcome Stakes and the race for the open pacers is the Group Three $25,000 Gordon Roxburgh Free-For-All sponsored by the Islington Tavern.
Not only will these fields be filled with star studded standardbreds, the remainder of the card with stakes at a minimum of $20,000, will attract quality horseflesh.
The exhilarating harness action doesn’t end there with the Group One $100,000 Breckon Farms / All Stars Racing Easter Cup scheduled for Easter Saturday, 4 April.
Plenty of action coming up at Addington over the next three weeks, so get along to the track to witness the thrill of harness racing at it’s very best.
