The following is information on NZ's racing channels and harness racing TV shows.


SKY - channel 63
Trackside provides full coverage of all New Zealand and many Australian races, up-to-date odds, field and dividend information. The New Zealand TAB is the only betting organisation in the world to have its own dedicated television channel, showing from 11am to 11pm seven days a week.


SKY - channel 62
TAB TV will ultimately broadcast from 0700 – 0300 Monday to Sunday with approximately 12 races per hour at peak times. However from launch until we acquire more international racing, the broadcast will begin at noon most days. TAB TV will broadcast ALL New Zealand race meetings. In addition, there will be international racing from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, North America, South Africa, France & the UK.

The Box Seat

Trackside. SKY - channel 63
The Box Seat is broadcast LIVE on Trackside, Wednesday nights at 8.30pm. The one hour show is also replayed at 10am on Thursdays. The Box Seat focuses on previews of the upcoming meetings at the weekend, with reviews, profiles, educational information and tipping sections.

In The Gig

Trackside. SKY - channel 63
A panel discussion show dedicated to Australian harness racing. In The Gig covers all the major harness races plus horses to follow, feature stories and analysis of pertinent issues in the sport. Airs on Tuesdays, 10.00pm on Trackside.

Trackside At The Trials

Trackside. SKY - channel 63
Harness trials brought to you on Trackside each week as they follow the harness trials action from around the country and highlight the horses to follow. Please go to and look under TV Schedules for the latest on air times.

Southland Harness Racing Show

CUE TV. SKY - channel 110
The Southland Harness Racing Show screens on CUE TV, Tuesdays 8.30pm. The sShow runs for 42 weeks of the year and features Trainer/Driver Profiles, Southland Trials and Workouts action, Tips for Southland Race Meetings and much more.
