Review now underway into 2YO Young Guns Trot

The Independent Review Panel looking into the Final of the Young Guns 2YO Trot Final held at Alexandra Park on 10 May met in Christchurch yesterday.

The Panel has asked HRNZ to remind participants that submissions can be sent to a confidential email review@hrnz.co.nz by close of business Friday, June 6. 

The Panel will meet on June 9 and 10 to speak with people directly connected to arranging and participating in the race and will be considering written submissions.

The review is examining the application and communication of race conditions, the regulatory framework underpinning such race series, and broader issues of fairness, process integrity, and stakeholder confidence.
