Ottley's drives at Methven

Samantha Ottley is a relatively young driver but with her ability to step horses quickly, coupled with a patient approach she has already shown an affinity for the big grass tracks.

Today Sam travels to Methven where she has seven drives, Mike Heenan from Methen Trotting Club asked Sam for her opinion of their chances.

Race 1 - Make My Sundon big job from the unruly in a tough field over raced last time, but if things go well has the ability to make her presence felt.

Race 2 - Arizonawidcat more encouraging effort last time place chance.

Race 4 - Bonnie Boy distance suits if can get handy from his wide draw and races kindly each way hope.

Race 5 - Betancourt drawn badly on second line looking for everything to go his way.

Race 6 - Super Star Legend for old boss Murray Tapper also drawn badly and looking for luck.

Race 7 - Momentous lovely old warrior who suits grass but possibly will lose his advantage early with this being a mobile rough chance.

Race 9 - Makasar Boy draw no help but each way chance with the right run.
