Communications & Marketing Admin Assistant (Part-Time)
Christchurch Office | Fixed Term: September 2025 – March 2026 | Part-Time, 20 hrs/week 
(Full-time availability required from 1–14 November)

Harness Racing New Zealand is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Communications & Marketing Admin Assistant to support our team for the next six months. 
This is a varied role for someone with a “can-do” attitude who’s ready to pitch in wherever needed.
 
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Support
•    Update website pages with news stories, race previews, official information and event promotions 
•    Assist with the delivery of social media content and campaigns
•    Assist with day-to-day scheduling and posting across platforms
 
Event & Campaign Support
•    Provide admin support for major campaigns and events
•    Help prepare promotional and event materials
•    Be available on-site at key functions 
 
What we are looking for
•    An understanding of harness racing
•    Confident using social media platforms 
•    Familiarity with website platforms
•    Excellent writing and communication skills
•    Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during busy event periods
•    Previous experience in marketing, events, or communications support (desirable)
