HRNZ : GST inputs claim update

We are currently working with all our clubs to receive the GST input claim refunds from Inland Revenue.

To date we have received just over 90% of the refunds and we expect to have the vast majority of the balance of funds in the next six weeks when the next two-monthly GST filing has been processed.

We have a few clubs who file six-monthly GST returns and they are waiting for their next filing period to arrive before they can access their share of the refund.

We are writing the computer code to enable distribution of the refunds to the affected owners through our centralised payments programme and expect to be able to make payment by August.

Eligible owners will receive an email nearer the time outlining the details and amount of their GST refund. To speed up the processing of the payments, we ask owners to ensure that their bank account and email contact addresses are up to date, particularly those owners who haven’t received any stakes payments for some time.
