Hospitality packages now available for Harness 5000

From a fully-catered day to a picnic on the grass - there are options aplenty for those looking to be on-course for Ashburton's big Harness 5000 meeting on December 21.

The day promises to be a huge occasion with months of qualifying leading into 12 $60,000 "finals".

The Ashburton Trotting Club has now released its hospitality packages for the day, including a fully catered option at $125 each. This will be limited to 100 people on a first come first served basis.

HOSPITALITY OPTIONS : 

Fully Catered Option

Includes:
Meal
Drinks (beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic)
Reserved seated area in grandstand
Racebook

LIMIT - 100

Cost - $125 per person

Marquee Option
Includes:

Continuous finger food
Drinks (beer, wine and non-alcoholic)
Marquee near finishing post
Racebook
TAB Facilities

LIMIT – 80

Cost - $80 per person

Anyone wanting to take up either of those options should confirm their spots by emailing :  office@ashburtonraceway.co.nz

Once confirmed payment should be made to : BNZ account, 02-0836-0011658-002, reference HARNESS 5000

Payments must be completed by Friday, December 12, 2025.

OTHER OPTIONS :

Family Picnic Area

Families can bring along picnic and be accommodated on the grass area in front of public grandstand. Drinks can be purchased and consumed in this area

Boot Party

Patrons can bring their own drink and food into the car park accessed through Gate 5. TAB facilities will be available nearby. NO alcohol from this are is permitted to be taken on course.

PARKING

Gate 2 – limited to members, officials and sponsors
Gate 1 and 5 – Public
