Hill heads to Addington tonight after winning double at Rangiora

Already enjoying his best ever season, Seth Hill heads to Addington's huge meeting tonight after enjoying a driving double at Rangiora yesterday.
The talented junior driver saluted with two for his father Brendon "Benny" Hill on Thursday - Larissa Beaudiene (R8) and Ultimate Seisation (R10).
"I was really rapt to get a win with the two-year-old because I've had a bit to do with her and liked her. It was quite cool."
In the Property Brokers Rangiora True Team Promise Mobile Pace Hill and Larissa Beaudiene went back from their draw, settling last.
With a lap to go Hill made his move and sat parked until the home turn. They then took the initiative and managed to hold on from a fast-finishing favourite Suspicious Captain by just a nose.
It was her first win in just her second career start.
Two races later Hill opted to go forward with Ultimate Seisation in the Property Brokers Rangiora Property Management Mobile Pace. They sat parked before leaving the field to it as they turned for home, winning by two lengths.
That takes Hill to 34 wins for 2025. He is sixth in the junior drivers' premiership and earlier this week was confirmed as one of the 12 drivers to compete in the New Zealand Junior Drivers' Championship at Cambridge, Addington and Methven from November 27-30.
Tonight he has three drives at Addington's big night.
"They are all chances," says Hill.
The best, he says, is Patiro for his father in Race 1, Xmas at Addington Spots Still Available Mobile Pace (4.37pm).
"He was seventh on Cup day last start (behind Spirit Downunder) but it was better than it looks and he was running past a few late."
Before that effort he'd won three in a row.
A winner on debut for Team Telfer, Transonic is the $2.25 favourite in the opener, with Patiro at $8.
Hill's other drives are Cath ($4.60FF) in Race 5, the Group 3 Betavet Millwood Nike Classic and Crystal ($15FF) for his employer Bob Butt in the last of the night, Race 12, the Gold Band Taxis Mobile Pace (10.30pm).
