Fields filling for THE ASCENT and THE VELOCITY
The number of runners in the two big Show Day slot races at Addington Raceway just keeps growing.
Following a flurry of activity there are now eight trotters confirmed for the Majestic Horsefloats THE ASCENT and five of the 10 now known for the Hill Lee and Scott THE VELOCITY.
The Brad Williamson-trained To The Moon And Back, a winner of three from nine starts, has been announced for THE ASCENT along with Australian visitors Tracy The Jet and Gatesys Gem.
They will all join Habibti Pat, Rogue Hero, Tarragindi and Meant To Be.
Tracy The Jet is the $3 favourite with the TAB from Meant To Be ($4.20).
In THE VELOCITY Fate Awaits and Greased Lightnin give the race its first Australian involvement.
Fate Awaits is owned by Kevin Seymour/Solid Earth Pty and trained by Grant Dixon, the same combination that is associated with superstar pacer Leap To Fame while successful Australian owner Diane Reilly has secured Greased Lightnin after having Renegade in 2024.
The well-performed and in-form Rubira has also been confirmed and will renew his rivalry with Got The Chocolates and Marketplace who are the joint favourites, both at $2.10.
