Travel payments for northern horses
The Auckland Trotting Club and Waikato-Bay Of Plenty Harness clubs are working together to provide a $100 travel payment to horses that are sent over the Auckland/Waikato border to their respective race meetings over the next couple of weeks.
We understand that there are Cambridge type horses based in Auckland and vice versa, so the clubs are working together to provide some assistance to trainers which will help with getting their horses to the right meetings.
We do appreciate how hard this has been, not just with transport but with staff at the other end.
With news that the Auckland border is going to open on the 15th of December the travel payment will be made for the following race meetings:
25th November – WBOP Harness
26th November - ATC
2nd December – WBOP Harness
3rd December – ATC
Any one wanting to take up this offer, please ring Michael or Karen (ATC) when you accept with your horse or horses, for the above meetings.
