LYSENKO (L. Chin) broke late in the run up losing all chance. SPRINGFIELD LEGACY (B. Mangos) broke on two occasions during the running.
RACE 1 - WILD NUT MOBILE PACE

RACE 2 - MINSTON BELLE MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 6.55 p.m. Actual start time: 6.55.42 p.m.
SONIC WING (M. McKendry) failed to get clear racing room over the concluding stages finishing 4th. Favourite GRACE WAY (A.G. Herlihy) settled five back and one out, improved to race outside the leader at the 1300m, received cover one out and one back with a lap to run, shuffled three back and one out racing into the back straight on the final occasion, improved three wide with cover inside the 600m, wide on the home bend, fought on well for 6th.
RACE 3 - QUEEN PIRATE MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 7.25 p.m. Actual start time: 7.25.25 p.m.
MAHEER KNIGHT tangled for several strides in the run up and was back a length at the start. GAIUS CAESAR (R. Brosnan) was observed to strike three pylons in the run home. Horseman R. Brosnan advised that GAIUS CAESAR had a tendency to lock on to one rein running inwards, as he was attempting to drive the horse out. ZANSKAR (F. Cooney) reared and bucked when racing towards the rear of the field with 850m to run. Trainers D. Balle and O. Gillies were warned to improve ZANSKAR'S racing manners.
RACE 4 - LADY VOLO MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 7.55 p.m. Actual start time: 7.55.20 p.m.
Favourite GALLEONS HONOUR (J. Stormont) settled three back one out, when clear on the home turn ran on for 6th.
RACE 5 - BRONZE PATCH HANDICAP TROT
Advertised start time: 8.20 p.m. Actual start time: 8.20.49 p.m.
Horses to break at the start or during the running were DUCHENNE, DOCTOR KOVAC, DON CHIOLA and MISS INVASION, the latter breaking on several occasions losing all chance. Trainer N. Chilcott was warned to improve MISS INVASION'S racing manners. DUCHENNE was declared unruly for standing starts and Trainer P. Blanchard was warned to improve the racing manners of DON CHIOLA. An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) in that Trainer N. Chilcott failed to notify that MISS INVASION would be racing with a fixed hood. The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $100.00.
RACE 6 - GOLD BOY MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 8.50 p.m. Actual start time: 8.50.32 p.m.
Trainer L. Pettifer was advised that EASYPEZYLEMONSQUEEZY has been declared ineligible for 14 days up to and including 2nd April 2010. EASYPEZYLEMONSQUEEZY fell in the assembly area prior to the race and fell again after the race when returning to the stabling area.
RACE 7 - 1920 PARAWAI MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 9.20 p.m. Actual start time: 9.20.34 p.m.
AS TIME GOES BY broke when racing towards the rear with approximately 750m to run. Trainer B. Mangos was warned to improve the racing manners of AS TIME GOES BY. Favourite JACUZZISUZZI (A.G. Herlihy) settled at the rear, improved three wide with cover at the 1500m to race outside the leader at the 950m, received cover one out and one back racing through the back straight on the final occasion, battled in the run home to finish 10th.
RACE 8 - 90th JUBILEE THAMES TROTTING CUP
Advertised start time: 9.50 p.m. Actual start time: 9.54.01 p.m.
There was a late change of driver for THE WICKET MAIDEN due to an office error, J. Stormont taking the drive. A false start was declared when the 30m tape failed to release. In the re-start GENIUS stood on the 50m mark and failed to move off with the rest of the field losing considerable ground and was eventually pulled up. Horseman T. Macfarlane confirmed that this horse was fractious following the false start.
RACE 9 - AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB MOBILE CLAIMING PACE
Advertised start time: 10.20 p.m. Actual start time: 10.20.19 p.m.
KAIPARA ROCKET was claimed from this race.
GENERAL:
Adjourned inquiry - Auckland Trotting Club's meeting on 12th March 2010 - Race 8.
An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) in that Trainer G. Small presented AWESOME ARMBRO in the assembly area to race without the notified half blinds. The breach was upheld and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $100.00.
