Adjourned enquiry Forbury Park Trotting Clubs Meeting on the 11th March 2010. The Stewards concluded an investigation into the driving tactics of DJ Dunn (STORM LIGHT) in race 5. The Stewards questioned Mr Dunn as to why he did not shift forward at an earlier stage and to why he did not shift wide rounding the final bend. Mr Dunn stated that at the mare's previous start at the Wyndham Harness Racing Clubs Meeting on the 27th February 2010 the mare had shown quick speed when saved for one run and was reluctant to shift earlier and be left three wide without cover. Mr Dunn also added he believed from his position leaving the back straight on the final occasion he would still have been a chance apart from the mare being reluctant to shift out when hanging. Mr Dunn advised he had recommended a Murphy Blind be added to the gear to rectify the problem. The Stewards noted the comments of Mr Dunn and no further action was required.
