RACE 1 - ALABAR (NZ) MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 12.47p.m.  Actual start time: 12.47.58
WHOZ YA DAD paced roughly for a few strides shortly after the start.  With approximately 600m left to run WOODLEA BB which was racing towards the rear broke free of interference, part trainer L. Hollis was issued with a warning to improve this horses racing manners.  The favourite TERRE T (F. Cooney) settled 3rd to last in the early stages, improved three wide with approximately 1100m to run, in a challenging position turning for home and only battled to finish in 6th place.  An information was lodged alleging a breach of the push out Rule 869(4) & 869(6)(b)(c) in that Horseman G. Wolfenden improved ARJAYEM wider on the track forcing MOTORINGWITHTHEBEST (B. Mangos) from 3 wide to 4 wide with 1100m to run.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $200.00.

RACE 2 - MITRE 10 PUKEKOHE MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 13.12p.m.  Actual start time: 13.12.31
LEICA FIGHTER broke early in the run up, failed to settle and lost all chance.  Trainer B. Donnelly was warned to improve this horses mobile barrier manners.  ROYAL TIGER broke going across the crossing causing a slight check to VALHALLA, both of these horses were racing towards the rear.

RACE 3 - AMERICAN IDEAL @ WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 13.37p.m.  Actual start time: 13.37.41
With approximately 1400m left to run CHARDANAE over raced and in doing so struck the back of the sulky of RUBY.  SHARDON'S DEBUTANTE broke for a stride or two when racing in cramped quarters just short of the finishing post. Horseman G. Robb was shown the video of the concluding stages of this event and was warned in regard to the manner of which he drove SHARDON'S DEBUTANTE.

RACE 4 - MW INSURANCE SERVICES MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 14.02p.m.  Actual start time: 14.02.37
Favorite CULLENS IMPACT settled at the rear of the field, improved 3 wide with cover and ran on gamely to finish in 6th place. An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(2) in that Trainers B. Purdon & S. Phelan were late notifying that CULLENS'S IMPACT would not be racing in an open bridle. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $50.00.  An  information was lodged alleging Trainers D. Balle & O. Gillies were in breach of the driver notification regulation in that they were late to notify that G. Robb would take the drive behind CHINA CHINKO.  The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $25.00.  Trainers S. Reid and G. Rogerson were charged a $25.00 colour fee for THE OYSTER BAR.

RACE 5 - CACI MEDISPA PUKEKOHE TROT
Advertised start time: 14.27p.m.  Actual start time: 14.28.28
The required Veterinary Certificate of fitness for ALL MUSCLES was supplied.
Horses to break at the start and during the running MISS INVASION, MALAMBRA, LILLY'S MOMENT and ALL MUSCLES.  Trainer G. Small was warned to improve LILLYS MOMENT's racing manners. MISS INVASION wase declared unruly for standing starts.

RACE 6 - L.C. PURDON INTERNATIONAL TROT
Advertised start time: 2.52p.m.
Horses to break at the start or during the running were COUNT MALABAR, TAKEOVA, EXTASIA and THE WICKET MAIDEN with THE WICKET MAIDEN losing all chance.  An information was lodged alleging Trainer N. Chilcott was in breach of Rule 858(b) in that she failed to have her horse MYA GRACE on to the race track at least 10 minutes before race start time. The JCA upheld the charge but imposed no penalty.

RACE 7 - CADUCEUS CLUB MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 3.26p.m.
LAUGHINOUTLOUD was a late scratching from this event at 8.15am with a Vet Certificate provided.  AS TIME GOES BY broke after approximately 100m checking FIREWORKS, RAI WAKA FALCOLN, SECRET SMILE, TAFFETA BROMAC, LEE MER and STATE OF GRACE dislodging driver N. Chilcott from her sulky.  Trainer B. Mangos was warned to improve AS TIME GOES BY racing manners.

RACE 8 - HEWES METAL FRANKLIN COUNTRY CUP
Advertised start time:  4.06pm
LIVELY SANCTION broke at the start loosing all chance.  While in a gallop LIVELY SANCTION impeded PHIL B which was slow away.

RACE 9 - PAUL CURRAN @ BARFOOT & THOMPSON MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 4.41p.m.  Actual start time:
At the request of the TAB the start time of this race was put back 2 minutes.
There was a late driver change on ARADOZ from T. Mitchell to A. Donnelly.  The Favorite ELSA trailed throughout, failed to get clear racing room until approximately 150m to go, ran on fair for it's 4th placing.  CORRECT PROTOCOL broke momentarily crossing the crossing.  RICO GEAR broke with approximately 300m to run.  LIVE IN THE MIST hung then broke with approximately 150m to run, Trainer P. Scaife was warned to improve the horses manners.

RACE 10 - HEWES METALS CONSOLATION HANDICAP PACE
Advertised start time: 5.16p.m.
At the request of the TAB the start time of this race was put back 2 minutes.
THE ADMAN was a late scratching from this event at 12.00p.m. on veterinary advice.  A Vet Certificate of fitness will be required before this horse races again.  Horses that broke at the start or during the running were CULLY'S CREATION, FAIR SMOKEN, WIRE NETTING CANOE, COLONEL PICKERING and HANDY KNIGHT.  MR CROKER broke going across the crossing settling at the tail of the field.

ADJOURNED INQUIRY FROM THE ATC, RACE 10, 26-02-2010
The hearing was reopened into the alleged breach of Rule 869(4) in that horseman D. Butcher allowed his horse OYSTER BAR to move outwards resulting in his sulky wheel coming into contact with the front leg of ARJAYEM (G. Wolfenden) causing interference.  The JCA upheld the charge and imposed a fine of $300.00
