RACE 1 - www.ALEXANDRAPARK.CO.NZ. MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 5.55 p.m. Actual start time: 5.56.02 p.m.
Trainer A.G. Herlihy was warned to improve the race performance of MILLWOOD MIAMI. MILLWOOD MIAMI gave ground racing through the back straight on the final occasion, finishing last.  An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 864(2)(d) in that trainer B. Mowbray failed to affix the removable earplugs on BALISHKA so as not to malfunction.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $150.00.

RACE 2 - WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 6.25 p.m.  Actual start time: 6.25.30 p.m.
The connections of JAMES BURKE were warned to improve this horse's race performance. JAMES BURKE (T. Hall) weakened at the 300m finishing towards the rear.  KOTARE ASH (J. Lamb) failed to get clear racing room in the run home finishing 8th.  Junior Horseman P. Hilliard (MAHEER MONARCH), accompanied by Senior Horseman P. Butcher, was shown the film of the early stages of this race and was spoken to advisedly with regard to the Push Out Rule.

RACE 3 - BRECKON FARMS MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 6.55 p.m. Actual start time: 6.55.37 p.m.
K. Barron the driver of SOUNDS ALIVE reported that he could not activate the removable earplugs when he was unable to find racing room over the latter stages of the run home when his horse appeared to be full of running, finishing an unlucky 5th. POWERTOFLY broke shortly after the start.  Trainer P. Scaife was warned to improve its mobile barrier manners.   FRANCO NOUVEL failed to move off with the field and took no part in the race.  The connections of this horse were advised that this horse has been stood down for 28 days up to and including 19th March 2010.  An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(2) in that trainers S. Reid and G. Rogerson were late notifying NICOLAS BREAKSPEAR would race with full blinds.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $50.00.

RACE 4 - ALABAR NZ MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 7.25 p.m. Actual start time: 7.25.36 p.m.
Favourite FOUR STARZZZ FLASH (B. Purdon) settled third on the marker line, improved to lead at the 1500m and was run down over the concluding stages to finish 5th.

RACE 5 - SEELITE WINDOWS & DOORS HANDICAP TROT
Advertised start time: 7.55 p.m.   Actual start time: 7.56.27 p.m.
LASVEGASHEREWECOME broke at the start settling at the rear.  PERIGO broke with 700m to run briefly inconveniencing SUNOVER DOVER.FEATHERFLIGHT was removed from the unruly at the trainer's request. No horses were claimed from this event.

RACE 6 - EUROGLASS YOUNG GUNS HEAT 6 MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 8.20 p.m.  Actual start time: 8.21.00 p.m.
Trainer S. McCaffrey was warned to improve the mobile barrier manners of DAN'S GAMBLE.  DAN'S GAMBLE was fractious early in the run up prior to the start and then charged the gate, made contact and galloped losing considerable ground and its chance.  DAHLI was declared unruly for mobile starts.  This horse was the subject of a warning at its previous start, paced roughly in the run up and failed to keep contact with the field prior to the start and during the running.  The connections of JARCULLEMBRA were warned to improve its racing manners.  JARCULLEMBRA  broke free of interference racing into the first bend losing considerable ground and its chance.  Trainer C. Dalgety was warned to improve the racing manners of MATT MAGUIRE.  MATT MAGUIRE broke on the home bend losing its chance.  An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) in that Trainer D. Gibbons presented DAHLI into the assembly area to race without the notified half blinds.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $100.00.

RACE 7 - RELAY FOR LIFE TOMORROW HANDICAP TROT
Advertised start time: 8.50 p.m.  Actual start time:  8.50.12 p.m.
SIERRA ROYDON (T. Macfarlane) hung, struck a pylon with 300m to run breaking, losing its chance.

RACE 8 - AUCKLAND COOP TAXIS MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 9.20 p.m.   Actual start time: 9.20.40 p.m.
THE ADMAN struck several pylons racing round the final turn.  Favourite GEORGETOWN (K. Barron) settled one out without cover, improved to lead at the 1700m, steadied to take a trail at the 1200m, broke at the 950m settling at the rear.  This horse broke again at the 500m losing its chance. An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 869(4) in that horseman K. Barron (GEORGETOWN) struck the back of the sulky of BIG DOG (B. Purdon) causing his own horse to break from its gait.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $200.00.

RACE 9 - AUCKLAND CUP WEEK MARCH 5 - 12 MOBILE PACE
Advertised start time: 9.50 p.m.  Deferred start time: 10.06.30 p.m.  Actual start time: 10.06.30 p.m.
PERUVIAN VANCE was a late scratching on veterinary advice after this horse was found to be injured on arrival at the track.  A false start was declared when UNDERWOOD ROAD swung sideways falling on the track early in the run up prior to the start. UNDERWOOD ROAD was passed fit to race by the club's veterinary surgeon.  A further false start was declared when ROCKET KING (G. Robb) and CULLEN BALL (N. Molander) locked sulky wheels when turning around at the start of the score up behind the mobile.  As a result the wheel of the sulky for CULLEN BALL was badly damaged and had to be replaced.  This resulted in a 10 minute delay and at the request of the TAB the start was delayed an additional 6 minutes.  ROCKET KING broke at the start losing all chance.  Trainers S. Hunt (ROCKET KING), and co-trainer S. Robertson (UNDERWOOD ROAD) were warned to improve their respective horse's mobile barrier manners.  Favourite DE TONT (P.C. Ferguson) tried to lead for the entire journey however was run down over the concluding stages to finish 5th.

RACE 10 - GIRLS NIGHT OUT MARCH 5 HANDICAP TROT
Advertised start time: 10.20 p.m. Deferred start time: 10.36.00 Actual start time: 10.36.00.
Horses to make mistakes at the start or during the running were CRYSTAL CASTLETON, LANEZ LUCK, TOPNOTCH DREAM, SUNTARADON and CYNISCA.  Trainer W. Taylor was advised that CRYSTAL CASTLETON has been declared ineligible for 14 days up to and including 5th March 2010.  Trainers S. McCaffrey (LANEZ LUCK) and M. Wallis (SUNTARADON) were warned to improve their respective horse's racing manners.  An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) in that trainer M. Wallis presented SUNTARADON into the assembly area to race with half blinds which were not notified.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $100.00.  An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) in that trainers D. Balle and O. Gillies presented MIAMI H into the assembly area to race without the notified half hopples.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $100.00.

RACE 2 - STRIKE WON RACING STABLES MOBILE PACE
An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) in that trainer S. McCaffrey presented LEONIDAS into the assembly area to race with half blinds which were not notified.  The breach was upheld and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $50.00.

RACE 4 - REEDPRINT TROT
An information was lodged alleging a breach of Rule 865(2) in that trainer J. Dickie presented ELLEVENFIFTY SEVEN into the assembly area to race with removable earplugs when fixed earplugs had been notified.  The breach was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $100.00.
