Schedule & Conditions
This season’s championships will be run in a similar manner as previous
seasons. A designated pacing race (Country Cup) on each of the listed days in
the region will earn horses points based on the following: 1st 10 points, 2nd
5 points, 3rd 3 points, 4th 2 points, 5th 1 point. The highest point scorers
in each region will be selected to start in the Championship Final in that
region, if nominated.
Conditions:

1. |
A pacer must start in at least two of the
designated Country Cup races to qualify for that respective (region’s)
Championship Final. |

2. |
A pacer can qualify for more than one
Championship final but may contest only one. |
|
3. |
The Championship Finals will be Special
Handicaps. Conditions of the Country Cup qualifying races are at the
discretion of the host club. |
|
4. |
The Championship Finals will be Special
Handicaps based on the following handicaps: 3 wins Front, 4-5 wins 10m,
6-7 wins 20m, 8+ wins 30m |

5. |
General programming conditions apply as per
HRNZ regulations. |
