Much of the information available on the standard HRNZ Website
through Infohorse is now accessible via your mobile phones Web browser.

Navigation has been kept similar to the standard
Infohorse programs. Options will therefore include 'Submit' 'Back'
'New Search' and 'Quit'. Additional links have been placed on pages where this eases
navigation.
Data Entry
Data entry can be slow on a phone keypad. Text entry has therefore
been kept to a minimum. All phones should have a numeric entry mode.
It will therefore usually be quicker to enter a brand than type a
horse name.
Homepage
Mobile phones are usually set up with the phone companies WAP site as
the homepage. If you are regularly using Infohorse on your phone
you can set wap.hrnz.co.nz as your home page.
Bookmarks
Alternatively set Infohorse as one of your bookmarks.
It is essential on a phone to use bookmarks. Type in the address
for Infohorse once to go to our homepage. From your options
choose 'Bookmarks' to store the site.
Feedback
HRNZ would certainly like feedback on this service. We have tested on
as many phones and devices as we have available. The display of data can
vary on phones. If you are having
any problems with a particular phone or program please contact
Infohorse at HRNZ or

WAP services in New Zealand
Both Telecom and Vodafone offer WAP services in New Zealand. Charges
can vary depending on the service and company you are with. It may
be worthwhile contacting your phone company to see which plan or
service is best for you. While there is a charge to use your phone to
access the Internet it should not be such that it is not
worthwhile using Infohorse on your phone.

Racing Details
- Full details available for
horses which raced in 1985/86 or later.
Breeding Details
- Service Records are complete
from the 1981/82 season onwards.
- Progeny listings are complete from Volume 25 of the studbook onwards.
