All aspects of raceday management are facilitated by the Infohorse system. Raceday
programmes, entries, fields, drivers and results can be entered.
Programmes
Infohorse offers extensive features for race programme entry. All aspects of a race programme can be stored in
the database. For example, age and sex of
horses, race conditions, stakes, and critical times relating to the raceday and the race.

Entries
Entries can be entered via the Internet with trainers logging on from within a Web
browser, from remote racetracks where managers logon using a Virtual Private Network, or
at the central controlling body.As all these
users are working in real time against a central database the raceday manager is always
aware of the current state of entries.Once
fields are released a Web page is automatically generated and available on the
organisations Web site. Updates to fields, such as scratched horses, also automatically
result in a new Web page being generated so that the public Web site always reflects the
state of the database.
Results
Race results can be immediately entered into the Infohorse database after each
race. This process forces the generation of a Web results page. Results
therefore progressively appear on the Web site during the race meeting. All statistical web pages are automatically
regenerated one hour after the last result has been entered for each raceday. These
include breeding reports and horsemens statistics.
Financials
Financial maintenance and reporting programs within the system are flexible and
extensive. They can be integrated with accounting packages as required.
Financial modules can be integrated with the central controlling body or handled at the
track.Other modules relate
specifically to the processes undertaken by the controlling body and their associated
charges.
