Infohorse has extensive functionality to cover the many features
required of a software package that must support a horse racing controlling authority. It can be extended and customised to suit the
needs of individual authorities.
Breeding Management
Programs exist to cater for Stallion
Registration, Broodmare Bookings and Service Confirmations
. Enquiry and
reporting programs are available to view breeding data.An industry Studbook can be produced as required by running one reporting program
as all required information is collected and stored in the database as a result of general
office and raceday processing.This Studbook
can also be viewed Online using a Web browser. An
advantage with this method is that the data is always up to date.

changing a value in the database.Registered
groups of owners (Syndicates, Companies, etc) are also maintained by the system.
Horse Transactions
The system can process the full range of transactions one would expect from an industry
management package. Various types of ownership and lease agreements can be
managed, as well as exports and imports
Horsemen
Infohorse caters for the registration of Jockeys, drivers and trainers. Different
categories of horsemen can be stored within the system, for example, junior horsemen.
Penalties imposed upon horsemen can be maintained and viewed.
Colours
Racing colours can be maintained and as new colours are created they are checked
against those already in the database. Users are prompted with warnings if similar
colours are already registered.
