Hopples has been out and about
all over the country the last few years enjoying meeting his
harness racing fans!

Hopples
the Harness Racing Mascot, braved the weather to visit the
Christchurch Show recently. Having a great time walking
around and meeting fans.
The first call of the day was to do a bit of exercise,
everyone knows that to stay healthy a work-out is needed.
As soon as
hopples was finished two blonde ladies came up to give him
some hay, they turned out to be none other than champion
rowers Georgina and Caroline Everswindel – Hopples was one
happy horse to meet them.
On the
subject of sport hopples soon bumped into one of his
favourite rugby stars – Chris Jack who after giving him a
carrot or two stood happily for a photo.
After
mingling with the stars, hopples was invited up on stage to
dance with the Plops. Hopples was quite taken with this and
has decided it might be good to audition for dancing with
the stars!
All this
dancing and mingling was quite tiring for our dear Hopples
so a popsicle was needed.
By now
Hopples was beginning to become a bit over-excited and ended
up being noticed by a policeman, luckily for Hopples the
policeman was a great Harness Racing Fan.
Hopples will be out and about again very soon, go along to
the races and meet him for yourself!!!
