For their third year, the Ashburton TC
will be playing host to the Harness Jewels. On Saturday, June 4th 2010,
Ashburton Raceway will be brimming with New Zealand's best age group pacers
and trotters, competing for Group 1 glory.
To qualify for the Harness Jewels, you must be the best of the best. Based
on stake earnings between 1 August 2010 and 22 May 2011, the top 12 two,
three and four-year-olds are invited to go head-to-head over nine stunning one
mile races. The progress of our top pacers and trotters can be followed on
the Leader Board page of this website.
Not only is this big day out full of exciting racing, there's excellent
entertainment, great food and a fun atmosphere, making the annual "Jewels"
an event not to be missed!!
